    Restaurants

    The Grand Marlin - a new upper scale seafood restaurant located between Gulf Breeze and Pensacola on the Bay. Guests can expect a fine dining experience.

    Cactus Flower - A small family owned restaurant that features a fusion style of Mexican/Californian cuisine. Very good food, nice ambiance and modest pricing.

    Aegean Breeze - This is a lovely seafood restaurant owned by a local Greek family. Located in Gulf Breeze proper, it serves fresh seafood with a Mediterranean influence.

    Guglielmos - a small local Italian eatery with modest pricing.

    Shan Kishi Japanese Hibachi & Fusion Sushi - For the sushi lovers this restaurant offers great sushi.

    Fish House - This restaurant is located on Pensacola Bay with great seafood, good portions and a good selections of wine.

    Global Grill - a great selection of hot and cold tapas along with full entrees.

    Jackson's - this is a fine dining, upscale, white tablecloth restaurant with first rate steaks and seafood.

    East Bay Crab House - located in Navarre and is a local favorite for its fresh seafood.

     

    Blue Angels

    The Navy's "Blue Angels" call the Gulf Coast home. Every July the premiere flight demonstration team performs their breathtaking maneuvers over Pensacola Beach and wind down the season with a homecoming performance onboard N.A.S. Pensacola in November.

    Jet-Skiing

    Cruising through the water on a jet ski is great fun for both teenagers and adults. The sport is easy to learn, and gives you an opportunity to see the beach from the Gulf's point of view.

    Kayaking

    Whether you're a seasoned whitewater kayaker or recreational paddler looking for some excitement, surf kayaking is a watersport you've just got to try!

    The Gulf Breeze Zoo

    With 30 acres of preserve, the Zoo is home to over 1400 different animals from alligators to lions to African wild dogs, and more.

    Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the raised walkway overlooking the African Preserve. View herds of free-roaming deer, wildebeest, and ostrich. See Cape hunting dogs and catch a watch the primates on Chimp Island.

     

    The Safari Line Limited Train will take you throughout the preserve  viewing spider monkeys, gorillas, lions and much more.  Taking a ride through their world helps us to appreciate more the animals and their habitat.

    The annual Zoolights, perfect for the entire family to enjoy, boasts over a million lights with holiday scenes and light up the Zoo magically and usually begins around Thanksgiving and going through the Christmas season.

    Panhandle Butterfly House

    The Panhandle Butterfly House is an educational and interactive exhibit. It teaches us to become more aware of the importance of preserving our habitats and to use appropriate integrated pest management. But above all, the Panhandle Butterfly House is a place to simply enjoy the elegant flight of the butterfly, to delight in their brilliant colors and to become immersed in the fragrances and beauty of the flowers.
